Terms and Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) is a legal agreement (this “Agreement”) between you and Stand Up Maids, LLC (“Stand Up Maids,” “us,” “we,” or “our”), governing your use of our website (www.StandUpMaids.com) and our mobile applications (collectively, the “Sites”) provided in connection with our cleaning services. “Service” or “Services” refers to any service we offer, including but not limited to residential cleaning services.

By accessing any of our Sites or using any Stand Up Maids products or Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. This applies to all users and visitors (“Users”) of the Sites and recipients of our Services.

If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use our Sites or Services. We may update or revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of our Sites or Services constitutes acceptance of any changes.


1. Use of Our Services

Eligibility

You may use our Services only if you can form a legally binding contract under applicable law. Our Services are not available to anyone under 18 years of age or to any Users previously removed from our Services.


2. Cleaning Services

Our Commitment

We strive to deliver Services in a professional, reliable manner. If you are unsatisfied, we’ll return for a re-clean. If you’re still not satisfied, we’ll issue a full refund.

Your Responsibilities

To schedule a cleaning, you must:

  • Provide accurate service location information

  • Ensure access to your home at the scheduled time

  • Remove or secure valuables
    Failure to comply may result in denial of service, and we are not liable for resulting damages or losses.


3. Online Accounts

You may register for an account by providing accurate and complete personal information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

By registering, you consent to receiving service-related communications via email.


4. Online and Mobile Usage Rules

While using our Sites, you agree not to:

  • Use false or misleading personal information

  • Transmit harmful, illegal, or infringing content

  • Attempt unauthorized access or data collection

  • Engage in spamming or malicious activity

  • Violate any law or regulation


5. Purchases and Billing

Purchases

To book services, you must provide accurate billing, shipping, and payment information. You confirm you are authorized to use the payment method provided.

We reserve the right to update service descriptions, pricing, or availability at any time without notice.

Billing

Payment is due on the day of the service. For recurring cleanings, all prior payments must be cleared before the next visit. We accept debit/credit cards only—no cash or checks.

Invoices are emailed. Late or unpaid balances may be sent to collections, and you are responsible for all legal or collection costs.


6. Cancellations

  • Recurring Cleanings: 30-day written notice required. If not provided, we may charge for any cleanings scheduled within that period or a $70 cancellation fee.

  • One-Time Cleanings: Must cancel at least 24 hours prior or a $70 fee applies.

  • We reserve the right to cancel any appointment at our discretion.


7. Refund Policy

If you’re dissatisfied, we’ll re-clean. If you’re still not satisfied, we’ll issue a full refund.


8. Taxes

You agree to pay all applicable federal, state, and local taxes related to your purchases.


9. Safety

For safety, we will not move items over 40 lbs or use your cleaning chemicals if we determine they’re unsafe. Please secure pets and safely dispose of needles or sharps prior to service.


10. Home Access & Lockouts

You may grant access by:

  • Being present

  • Leaving a key

  • Notifying your building/concierge

  • Providing a key in advance (stored securely and anonymously)

Lockout fees:

  • 1st: $50

  • 2nd: $100

  • 3rd and beyond: Full service charge may apply


11. Appointments and Clutter

Arrival times fall within a 90-minute window. Please ensure floors and surfaces are decluttered. We offer organizing services upon request.


12. Pets

Pets must be secured during cleanings. While we love pets, we are not responsible for their care or safety.


13. Damages

Report damages within 48 hours by email or phone. Include:

  • Item description

  • Estimated replacement value

  • Photos

We will investigate and, at our discretion, repair, replace, or refund if we determine responsibility.


14. Intellectual Property and Use Restrictions

You are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-commercial license to use our Sites and Services. You may not:

  • Sell, sublicense, or reverse engineer our software or Services

  • Copy or mimic any features or content
    All rights not explicitly granted are reserved by Stand Up Maids.


15. Third-Party Links

We may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content, terms, or policies. Use them at your own risk.


16. Non-Solicitation

You agree not to hire, engage, or solicit any Stand Up Maids employee or contractor for personal services for at least 2 years after they last worked with us.


17. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Stand Up Maids and its agents harmless from any claims, damages, or losses related to:

  • Your use of our Sites or Services

  • Violation of these Terms

  • Violation of any law or third-party rights


18. Disclaimers

Our Sites and Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.


19. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for indirect or incidental damages. If you’re dissatisfied with a product, you may be eligible for a refund. If dissatisfied with our Services, stop using them. Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount you paid.


20. Internet Delays

We are not responsible for delays or failures due to internet issues or outages.


21. Legal Terms

Jurisdiction

This Agreement is governed by Florida law. Disputes must be resolved in the courts of Hillsborough County, Florida.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, labor shortages, etc.).

Severability

If a provision is found invalid, the remaining Terms remain in full effect.

Waiver

Failure to enforce a right or provision does not constitute a waiver.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the full agreement between you and Stand Up Maids.

Assignment

We may assign this Agreement to a third party. You may not assign your rights without our written consent.

Amendment

These Terms may be modified at any time by posting an updated version.

Headings

Section titles are for convenience only and have no legal effect.

Termination

We may terminate access to our Sites or Services at any time. Upon termination, your account and data may be deleted, and we will have no further obligation to you.
